We collect account data (email, name), storefront profile data, product metadata, and order information required to deliver digital goods and operate the marketplace.
What a creator sees about you
When you buy from a creator on ClipChaos, that creator sees your name, your email address, what you bought, what you paid and when. They can keep this as a record of their sales and download it. It is given to them to deliver and support what you bought, and to tell you about their own new work. They may not sell it or pass it on.
When you follow a store, the creator sees the email address you followed with. Every email about a creator's new work has a link that stops those emails.
A creator does not see your phone number, your password or your payment details.
Payments
Payment processing may be handled by third-party processors (e.g. Razorpay). We do not store full card numbers on ClipChaos servers.
Arriving from a partner
If you reach ClipChaosthrough a partner's link (for example a tool you used to make your product), your browser remembers which partner it was, and any product name and description the link carried, so you do not have to type them again. If you then open a store, we record which partner you came from, to count how many creators each partner sends. We do not send your details to the partner.
AI assistants and other programs
ClipChaos has a public catalog and a connector that AI assistants and other programs can use to search the products on sale. They are read-only and need no sign-in. They receive the words being searched for and return public product listings; they collect no personal details and cannot see any account, order or payment. The address a request comes from is kept briefly, only to limit how often it may ask. If you use an assistant to search ClipChaos, what you type into that assistant is handled under its own privacy policy.
